“Just You, Just Me, Just Us” was the couple’s mantra for the wedding, an idea they wanted to embody in their celebration with their beloved community.

The couple’s love, lives, and work are influenced and enmeshed in radical Black traditions. I integrated their romance with their activism, creating a graphic seal inspired by the Black Panther logo, union insignia, and Victorian calling cards.

All the materials were printed from home using a range of slightly textured paper.

The ceremony bulletin lists the run of show and wedding party members, as well as a poster declaring the couple’s intent for respect, inclusion, and Blackness for the celebration.
